Obama to Extend Unemployment Benefits

President Obama announced a plan last week to extend unemployment benefits for people who go back to school. For some reason, this decision has got the GOP in an uproar, and they don’t want unemployed people to get any kind of special benefits from the government. Mike Papantonio of Air America’s Ring of Fire takes on the Bulls and Bears on Fox News to debate the issue.

If this government should have over the people, then given to taxpayers, money that was given to AIG continues, automakers and banks. We could have saved! How is it possible, to Congress and the President can not do what is best for the people?

Eric, I have worked for 25 years without stopping. “I have two kids to feed and pay a mortgage. I’m collecting unemployment for some time and make only half of what I do when I work. Unemployment is running out for me soon, but nowhere I can find a job and not I have a job that I pay less, the user interface apply. If you lose your job tomorrow, I would like to see Eric walk out of the mouth, but if you were here would have to crawl out of your ass.

Copani What about a 5000 dollar tax credit for businesses that hire and employ a person for a year, pay to recruit people, instead of paying people not to work.

Ahhh feels that unemployment is 10% higher than in 25 years? Obama is a recession, the end was, and probably extends through the rest of his only hit to come in the office. You can not spend incredible amounts of borrowed money, or printed and job creators to attack the free market and hope to save the economy. I never saw the economy as it destroyed my life.

authoritarian and paternalistic public, is that I have for 10 + years working on the job training-BS. Now unemployed. Want to work, but very difficult, very competitive. He earned his degree from a reputable university and have managed teams of 25 people, but can not find a job. Thanks for unemployment insurance. . Probably the only good thing about this manager is doing. Without it, my car would not have its own multiply (?, That the number of people would be w / out benefits – what would the housing market)

Better get ready to share more unemployment, because GM CEO says it’s still an expectation that companies are restructured without judicial protection, gives a possibility that the headquarters would be Detroit auto giant in South America and bewegen.GM Workers have won the car.

26 weeks, which is regarded “not have a job? As if that bastard knows what he means when no work is available at all. Where I live there are places that have to be adjusted to three dozen people, and people applting 6000. It is much more complicated than simple card “rights.”

Uhhh none of the employees pay unemployment insurance? I know, I tat.Und the glasses guy (Pat) is correct. Leaving people in the dust, as the economy does not help, changes in the economy. People who find a job, can not remain. You must be trained to a different job to deal with this fact tun.Wir or burying our heads in the sand, while things go down the toilet.

Ok, those of us that were laid off initally paid into unemployment, and that is why it is there. The extensions are paid by tax payers, and my husband has paid a tremendous amount of taxes since he began working at the age of 12. I work in the education field and had a dream of becoming a teacher. I did not have an opportunity to go to school, as I started my family at a young age. I consider myself a republican and I have to say that I am offended. You cannot stay on the extensions forever, they are a help to those who are helping themselves. Before being laid off, I worked at a wal-mart store for two years nights, and every weekend. Why not use this money to help families…if not, it will get wasted on some kind of research about mullusks, or weeds, or be spent on something else…what is better than helping your neighbor? If it were you who were born with different opportunities, would you want help? By the way, they do check your grades, progress and attendance very closely.

Last night when my wife and I were laying in bed I thought of something. I wonder when all of these college boomers are going to die off? You gotta think that everyone is getting close to being finished with their degrees since the economic meltdown started. What happens to our countries financial system once that begins to happen? What a gloomy site. I had a difficult time going to bed after reflecting on that thought.
