This book has brought me very well for a career in the foreign exchange market. Perhaps the most gentle introduction to international finance, the book does not waste time with the implementation of the ideas, but also offers the necessary knowledge and illustrative examples. I had the good fortune to have learned the subject by the author (Dr. Eun), so that the book was fully exploited. However, other teachers will find the book an ideal companion for course materials. In fact, the book is so well written, it seems like a tutorial. You can not go wrong when they are in international finance courses. The book also helps you prepare for the CFA examinations.

This book has three major strengths compared to other textbooks in this area. # 1: It is firmly FINANCE theories. Most of the texts of international finance have more of an “International Business” taste. # 2 is more analytical than most others. # 3: It is very comprehensive yet concise. This is a must in the field of international finance. It is especially suitable for the financing of higher-level undergraduate and MBA students and financial professionals with an interest in investment.

The fifth edition was published in 2009, still has many problems that are related to occupations in 1987 at the present time tables and 1990 reports by the IMF. Mark comment Dutch guilder and transactions as if they still exist. Graphics have investment data 1977-1986. The PowerPoint slides are errors that do not bind to the examples in the text. Authors should pay more attention to updating, or hire someone to do to pay for them. For a student who needs a lot of information to update. For an international financial instructor, there are better options elsewhere text.

The focus of this book was well on the theme International Finance. Some chapters are more than any other theory, be confusing, might for someone without experience in business. However, the examples are excellent.
