MOTUL, The World Class Oil
MOTUL brand got synonymous with the famous oil. But you need to know that, MOTUL which was founded in New York in 1853, had started its presence in the business of fish oils that are used for lanterns. Rockefeller Group which has business and operated as a subsidiary of Standard Oil Company, then managed and operated by Swan Finch, who in 1919 was known as the Swan Finch Company. After establishing its headquarters in the U.S., the Swan Finch Company expands lubricants business and started exporting to Europe. In 1932, Zaugg family, the French distributor bought the Swan Finch Company, but retaining the MOTUL brand name. The entire operation was moved to France and the MOTUL brand name relaunched as a French brand. And it is so much famous all over the world.
With a focus on reliability and performance lubricant, MOTUL dramatically change the lubricant industry by producing some world class lubricants and thus re-arrange the travel and the future of industrial machinery lubrication. In 1953 MOTUL launched a multi-level engine oil. Then, in 1966 MOTUL launched a semi-synthetic engine oil and the 1971 MOTUL launch 100 percent synthetic engine oil. With headquarters in Paris, France, recently, MOTUL products sold in 65 countries. Well, this is a very good achievement.
