PCI supports bill about “No Pay/No Play”
Property Accident Insurers Association of America (PCI) said that agency Kansas Legislature has passed legislation, Senate Bill 136, which is designed to encourage all drivers to purchase auto insurance as required by law and reduce the number of uninsured motorists on the road. Act policy initiative known as “No Pay / No Play” was adopted by the bill aims to strengthen compliance with motor vehicle laws and strengthen the financial responsibility of the state.
They who prohibit law “No pay / No play” in the recovery of non-economic damages because they who injured in a car accident does not have personal injury protection. Thus, the fault is not insurance but the driver but they are forbidden to sue for pain and suffering in a car accident because they themselves cannot provide the same benefits to others.
PCI supports bill ” No pay / No play” because they think it is an effective way to protect motorcycle riders by incentivizing the purchase of car insurance. Kansas Electronic Motor Vehicle Financial Security Verification System Task Force – is a legislative study group that was formed to study the population of uninsured motorists.
All of which has a statute on the basis of concepts that “No pay / No play” are Alaska, California, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, North Dakota and Oregon. Besides Kansas, Minnesota and Montana are also considered “No pay / No play” rule this year.
