Bharti AXA Life Insurance will launch triple-benefit critical illness plan
New Delhi – Bharti AXA Life said that the plans included 13 critical illnesses under three broad groups. In addition, the insurance cover will be for up to three times the sum assured under the policy. On Thursday, Bharti AXA Life Insurance has made a foray into the health insurance segment with launching triple-benefit critical illness plan.
“The plan will include 13 critical illnesses under three broad groups and the insurance cover will be for up to three times the sum assured under the policy”, Bharti AXA Life states in a statement. Bharti Group signed into an agreement for selling its 74% stake in life insurance firm Bharti AXA Life to Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Group. Currently, the deal is still waiting certain regulatory approvals.
Sandeep Ghosh as CEO of Bharti AXA Life Insurance also said that the plan of Bharti AXA Life Triple Health Insurance was designed not only to protect the policyholder financially, but also acted as an income replacement in such trying times. After diagnosed of one of the illnesses, the policyholder can do the claim 100% of the sum assured under the policy and was still covered for illnesses under the remaining two groups. Furthermore, the policyholder in case of critical illness will pay future premiums.
