Doak has said that the travelling aims to bring attention to the state’s uninsured motorists, who have made up about a quarter of Oklahoma drivers. He added that we have to be serious for catching uninsured motorists. It is caused by the rising cost of uninsured all Oklahomans motorist coverage. “The cover could be far more expensive than in surrounding states because more Oklahoma motorists are uninsured”, he said.
Doak expects to learn how insurance companies and the state could increase their systems and better convey information to police. He also said that he could think of a better day to be out here for saying thank you to these men and women who had already served our state and also brought attention” to uninsured motorists.
Chambliss argued that he has seen uninsured motorists regularly, but he stated that a new law which permits law enforcement officers for having uninsured vehicles are towed during traffic stops, it seems helping. He added that he thinks it’s better than before and said that troopers are once limited to write tickets.
Doak explained that the aspect of having your car towed, he thinks, you have to send a message statewide for getting insurance, going to your local broker, and find out what the cost is. It will be better than nothing if you have that minimal liability insurance.
