Volume prize Insurance has acquired the target of USD 800 million by 2010
Luanda – The volume of insurance prize in the country has scored USD 800 million in 2010, when compared with the previously acquired of USD 636 million in 2009.

Minister informed that compensation has increased from USD 62 million in 2001 to USD 155 million in 2010, with accident rates that vary, from 20 to 30 percent. The minister also emphasized that the pension fund segment also experienced rapid growth since the country now has four insurance companies, which manages 21 pension funds at this time.
According to Carlos Alberto Lopes, pension funds have reached USD 358 million in 2009, presented at the annual contribution of USD 96 million and a pension that has been paid in the amount of USD 42 million. This conference will be attended by representatives from Angola, Macau, Portugal, Cape Verde, Sao Tome and Principe, Mozambique and Brazil.
