A Concord woman accused of doing insurance fraud
A Concord woman has been accused of making a false letter to the insurance company which has resulted a Concord woman was receiving more money from an area hospital but authorities said he was entitled to receive the money. Tanisha Lozada aged 25 has been charged with one count in order to obtain property by false pretense. Officials have said that additional warrants also were served in the Lozada.
On Tuesday, State Department of Insurance has announced the arrest, and the scheme of treatment Lozada had received last June after a car accident. According to a news release, the insurance department has said that the Farm Bureau Insurance acquired the excess payment from the Carolinas Healthcare System for the treatment of $ 2,010.73 Lozada. Investigators have suspected Lozada created a false document on letterhead from the Farm Bureau and fax to the hospital system, and then Lozarda also ordered to send the refund directly to him.
