NERFUND gave loans to four entrepreneurs from Technology Incubation Center (TIC)
Last Thursday, the National Economic Reconstruction Fund (NERFUND) gave loans to four entrepreneurs from Technology Incubation Center (TIC), Benin City as part of efforts to promote the development of medium and small innovative businesses in the country. The four entrepreneurs are and Marvelous Aghaulor, Emeka Ugwu, Lucky Kasimu and Noma Iguisi.
Dr. (Mrs.) Julie Momah, the manager of the center urged the beneficiaries of the loans to invest wisely when she is Welcoming guests to the event held at TIC in Benin City. It is to achieve the aims for which the loan were disbursed. The accountant of the center Mrs. Chika Ude reminds the beneficiaries that the chances of other participants getting the loans in future are depended on the prompt repayment by the recipients. Dr Richard Urama Director of operations represents the Director-General of National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) asks the beneficiaries to adopt best practices in investing the loans.
Alhaji Abdul Usman, the representative of NERFUND Also speaking at the event that in giving out the loans, his organization is collaborating with the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI). NERFUND was out to provide funding for small as well as medium scale innovative entrepreneurs across the countries and is a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Finance, he explained.
