This is also commonly referred to as CDW and LDW. Personal Accident Insurance: This pays if you have medical bills from a car accident that has taken place in your rental car. This is also known as PAI. Supplemental Liability Insurance: This pays you up to one million dollars in extended liability coverage. This is also known as SLI. Personal Effects Coverage: This pays you for any of your personal possessions that are stolen from inside your rental car. This is also referred to as PEC.
